Hey, I’m Taskeen, a Creative Director from South Africa, now based in NYC. I got my start over a decade ago at Vega, and since then, I’ve been lucky enough to work across South Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and now the U.S. Travel’s always been a big part of my life, and getting to mix that with the creative world has been a dream—collaborating with amazing people, agencies, and brands along the way. It’s been a bit of a ride, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. ✨🌍
What I love most about this industry is the belief that bold ideas can actually shift things. That’s what keeps me going—finding ways to make creative work that’s not just clever, but purposeful. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to have work recognized at Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clios, and more. In 2019, I landed the #3 Art Director spot in the Middle East and North Africa via the B&W Report. Some proud moments? Getting the Zero Tolerance Ribbon featured at the UN, helping set a blood donation record in Lebanon, igniting convos around gender equality, and picking up 3 D&AD pencils for a refugee awareness campaign made on a $500 budget.
